happy national day everybody :D

6 August 2010:

National Day Celebration at school
erm, i was left out of the action

coz....

GUITAR WAS PERFORMING :DD

anyway, we had an awesome time.
though we were stuck in the AVT...
and missed the performance.
Being with Nicole and Haziah always feels awesome :D
then practise practise till our performance
When we went on stage, everyone was singing NDP songs
and i felt so touched by enthusiasm in their voice.
Haha.
anyway, we performed, i got a bit kancheong but it didnt matter coz i was at the back
so nobody could see me :p
so we played
and the audience wanted to clap to the beat of the song
but there were others who were shushing them.
so nobody clap.
but there was muffled laughter, so i laughed. .__.
anyway, everybody clapped real loudly when we finished performing.
And it felt good :)
after the celebration, i stayed back to the my Literature homework.
With Sathiss coz he also didnt do...
and i finished my curry puff.
Was it me or did it really taste good? o.o
Haha.
then jwen and weicong came over.
then they stayed for a while.
when they realised we were gonna take a while to finish the homework, they left first.
so when i FINALLY finished my work, i handed it in to pigeon hole 23.
and left school
saw glenda at the bus stop.
then chatted a while before my bus came.
Where was Sathiss?
HE PANGSEH-ED ME COZ THERE WAS A 28 OPPOSITE.
but nvm, coz he was rushing for time.
i'm kind :)

9 August 2010:

i wore red :DD

i went to the NDP @ Padang

and i sat at the red sector.
(hehe, so auspicious)

and WanLin kept asking me why i didnt bring her along
sorry, i only had 2 tickets. :(
so i went with my mum

we reached raffles place at around 3.30pm, which was super early.
coz we were supposed to be seated by 5.20pm.
so we decided to walk walk.
went to the basement.
and i chiong into the chocolate shop.
then i saw this jelly bean dispenser.
very retro-looking, very nice, but very expensive.

:O
so i told my mum i'll buy it next time when i grow up.
heehee.

so we left the chocolate shop and went to a bread shop.
and bought those mini buns.
5 for $2.80.
hai hao la.
and i ate 3 of them. before, during and after the parade.
not all at once, i'm not that greedy okay.

hmm, then we walked to robinsons and it was only 4.30pm.
zzz. so we chope the seats at the shoe section.
waited till 4.45pm, then started to move to the padang.
we reached there around 5.15pm
just nice as the parade was beginning.

AND IT WAS GREAT FUN BEING AT THE PARADE.
the atmosphere was just so lively.
the aerial display, march past, performances were really good.
oh, and the red lions :D
pro people who jump from the sky. lol.
and the fireworks were just awesome.
it was great.
even the middle-aged guy behind me was singing along to the NDP songs...

OVERALL, IT WAS JUST GREAT FUN :DD
the atmosphere was just wonderful.
